Soundtrack To Life - The (Very Lucky) Third

Tue Jun 17, 2008, 11:46 AM
:iconaeolus06:

Aeolus06 left a open Tag in his journal, so I thought I'd do it.

Okay, this time I have no other reason then being bored and liking to do this. So, round the third.

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend your cool... and lot of the songs fit with the setting

Opening Credits:
The Passenger - Iggy Pop
(...Well and oldie but a goodie is fine by me!)

Waking Up:
All The Young Dudes - Ozzy Osbourne
(One of my favourite songs covered by one of my favourite artists is indeed a good song to wake up to!)

First Day At School:
Get Out Alive - Three Days Grace
(Uhh... A little over-the-top for just school, but this is another oddly fitting one.)

Falling In Love:
The Scientist - Coldplay
(Nice! Again I'm getting relevant and good songs for each category Let's hope I can keep it up...)

Fight Song:
When The Lights Are Down - Kamelot
(OMGYAYS. Like Chop Suey before it, this is perfect for a hardcore bloody massive explosion filled death defying METAL FIGHT! One of my favourite metal songs as well.)

Hmm. So far it seems to be all going my way yet again. Let's see if I can keep it up...

Breaking Up:
Way Away - Yellowcard
(And I keep it up! A very harsh song about leaving people and losing your faith in everything. Good.)

Prom night:
Bohemian Like You - The Dandy Warholes
(Jeez, everything seems to be going my way this time. I can think of very few people who don't like this one.)

Life:
Teardrop - Massive Attack
(Yet again, I'm lucky. One of my favourite songs, with an odd ethereality and profoundness about it. Another good sentiment to go through life with.)

Mental Breakdown:
I Want Love (Studio Mix) - Melissa Williamson
(There was an initial sense of 'WHAT THE HELL'!?! Until I remembered that this song is on the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack. If anything could give you a mental breakdown, it'd be that game.)

Driving:
Wonderwall - Oasis
(Am I going to get ANY bad ones this time? Anyway, Oasis's masterpiece is one I'd be happy driving too)

Flashback:
Scar Tissue (Live At Slaine Castle) - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
(This is getting ridiculous! I have yet to get an inappropriate one! Better keep going...)

Getting back together:
Selenite (Karas End.) - Rurutia
(A slow, sensual Japanese love song. Yet again, I am made of win. Okay, NEXT one HAS to be strange...)

Wedding:
That Kind Of Love - Alison Krauss
(A sweet, acoustic love song about the one true love. Damnit.)

Birth of Child:
Lightning Crashes - Live
(This is getting creepy now. The song is literally about a baby being born. Well, lets see if this keeps up.)

Final Battle:
Knights Of Cydonia (Live at Wembley) - Muse
(For F!"£'s SAKES! The chorus is "No one's going to take me alive, the time has come to set things right. You and I must fight for our rights, you and I must fight to survive"! And the live version is one of my favourite songs as well! I'm thinking of faking the next one just so people will believe that i'm not rigging this!)

Funeral Song:
Leave Out All The Rest - Linkin Park
(Okay now this is getting stupid! A song literally about how a man wants to be remembered after he dies! This is really starting to piss me off!)

Final Credits:
Free Fallin' - Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers
(And a classic yet mellow rock song to exit on. GODFREAKINGDAMNIT!!)

Done.

Okay, I see one of two explanations for this. One, I have suddenly developed the metahuman power to alter probability in my favour, or Two, my computer has achieved both sentience and psychic powers and is choosing the music FOR me. Either way I'm a little freaked out!

Oh well, life goes on.

I tag anyone who wants to do there own version,

But I tag Kirsty again anyways.
